The power unit is manufactured by TDK-Lambda and is named CUS400M. The unit is suitable for industrial and medical use.
In the already produced models, 12V and 24V outputs are available. Later models will be available in 15V, 19V, 2V, 36V and 48V.
All models accept inputs from 85 to 264VAC and idle consumption is less than 1.3W (output blocked), and a 5V 2A or 12V 1A redundant output is available.
Optional I/O includes: remote on/off, remote detection, "AC failure" and "output signal good". With passive cooling, up to 400W is briefly available. The duration of this peak is up to 30 minutes at an ambient temperature of 40°C at 230V AC input with a maximum load cycle of 50%. This makes the CUS400M ideal for applications with relatively low power consumption and occasional peak load, including hospital beds, dental chairs and incubators.

The overall size of the case-less model is 77.5 x 128 x 39.5mm, and there are baseboard, U-channel, and sealed versions available. A version with a top mounted fan, will be available later this year. To optimize cooling, the underside of the PCB is mounted on a patented thermally conductive insulated plastic base that can transfer heat to the cold board or system chassis.
Medical and industrial safety certifications include IEC / EN / ES 60601 1, IEC / EN / UL 62368 1 and IEC / EN / UL 60950 1 with CE marking for Low Voltage, EMC and RoHS Directives. The devices also comply with conductive and radiated heat outputs EN 55011 B and EN 55032 B (class I and II) and comply with harmonics EN 61000 3 2, immunity standards IEC 60601 1 2 Edition 4 and IEC 61000 4.
Isolation between input and output is 4000V AC, isolation between input and ground 1500V AC and isolation between ground 1500V to meet medical device certification B and BF. Leakage current <250µA and touch current <100µA. The maximum operating, transport and storage height is 5000 meters.
